The needle has flexible wings, which serve as a handle during insertion and for easy fixation of the needle. This needle has a flexible, kink-free tube of 30 cm with a luer-lock connection. Equipped with safety mechanism.
A wing needle is used for subcutaneous application or short-term intravenous administration into a peripheral blood vessel.
These wing needles have an active safety mechanism. When removing the needle, the mechanism must be pressed, then the needle disappears into the sheath.
