USE IT WITH

  • Voltaren K 12.5 mg is used in the treatment of rheumatic pain, muscle pain, headache, toothache and period pain, acute low back pain, pain and fever in influenza, laryngitis and colds.

NOT TO BE USED WITH

  • If you have been diagnosed with heart disease or cerebrovascular disease; for example, you have had or have undergone surgery for a heart attack, stroke or mini-stroke (TIA) or blockage of the blood vessels to the heart or brain (for example, bypass surgery); whether the pumping force of your heart has decreased.
  • If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
  • If you have or have had a stomach or gastrointestinal ulcer.
  • If you have noticed blood in your stools or black tarry stools (gastrointestinal bleeding symptoms).
  • If your liver is severely reduced or not working.
  • If your kidneys are severely reduced or not working.
  • If you have or have had problems with your circulation (peripheral arterial disease).
    During the last 3 months (third trimester) of pregnancy.
  • If you have ever had an attack of asthma or wheezing, chest pain, an extensive itchy rash (urticaria) or a "hay fever" runny nose after taking other NSAIDs such as aspirin or ibuprofen.
  • In case of a brain haemorrhage or other bleeding or bleeding disorders.
  • With blood picture abnormalities.
  • With certain bone marrow abnormalities.

DOSAGE

Adults and children from 14 years: When symptoms occur, take 2 tablets as a starting dose. Afterwards, if necessary, 1 tablet every 4-6 hours. However, do not take more than 6 tablets per 24 hours.
Children: Do not give Voltaren K 12.5 mg to children under 14 years of age.
