The Ethicon VICRYL™ Plus VCP215H is a synthetic, braided, absorbable polyglactin 910 suture featuring an antibacterial triclosan coating. The coating helps inhibit bacterial colonisation by common pathogens, reducing the risk of surgical site infections. The suture provides excellent knot security, smooth tissue passage and predictable absorption by hydrolysis.
The RB-1 PLUS taper point needle (17 mm, 1/2 circle) is designed for atraumatic penetration of soft tissue, making it ideal for general surgery, gastrointestinal procedures, gynaecology and other delicate soft tissue closures.
Suitable for soft tissue approximation and ligation where an absorbable suture is indicated. The antibacterial coating makes VICRYL™ Plus an excellent choice for procedures where reducing the risk of surgical site infections is important.
