USE IT WITH

• Acetylsalicylic acid Teva is used to treat: mild to moderate pain e.g. headache, flu, toothache, general persistent pain, fever.

NOT TO BE USED WITH

• If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
• Hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid.
• Past asthma caused by taking acetylsalicylic acid or other similar medicines (especially non-hormonal anti-inflammatory medicines).
• In children under 6 years of age.
• From the 25th week of pregnancy (start of the 6th month of pregnancy).
• An active ulcer in the gastrointestinal tract.
• Bleeding disorders or risk of bleeding.
• Severe liver or kidney disease.
• Severe heart disease.
• Concomitant treatment with methoxtrexate (agent used for cancer and rheumatism) at a dose of 15 mg per week or more.
• Treatment with oral anticoagulants when high doses of acetylsalicylic acid are used, especially in the treatment of rheumatic diseases.

DOSAGE

Adults and children weighing more than 50 kg (approximately from 15 years): 1 tablet of 500 mg, to be repeated if necessary after a minimum of 4 hours. The maximum recommended daily dose is 3 grams of acetylsalicylic acid or 6 tablets per day.
Elderly: 1 tablet of 500 mg, to be renewed if necessary after a minimum of 4 hours. The maximum recommended daily dose is 2 grams of acetylsalicylic acid, or 4 tablets per day
