The 3M Steri-Strip Adhesive Strips are reinforced strips made of microporous material. The steri strips, also called dovetails, are used for fast and effective wound closure during, for example, emergency services in hospitals and operating theatres. The strips are quick and easy to apply and keep the wound edges of a laceration or cut together. This promotes wound healing, because the tensile strength of the wound increases rapidly.
