The new Spirobank II from MIR is a user-friendly, intuitively operated mobile spirometer that has sufficient storage space for the registration of up to 10,000 tests and allows immediate diagnosis thanks to the traffic light display. Thanks to the real-time spirometry curve, the results can be evaluated directly on the device.

The New Spirobank IIis available with a calibrated disposable turbine. Additional calibration is therefore no longer necessary. The turbine itself is packaged and calibrated.

Proper operation is not affected by variations in the following environmental conditions:

• temperature
• humidity
• air pressure.

Spirobank 2 is a portable diagnostic spirometer that can be used stand-alone or connected to a PC. The connection to the computer is via a USB port. Spirobank 2 has an extensive memory of up to 10,000 spirometry tests and does not need to be calibrated. Spirobank 2 has been validated by the American Thoracic Society.

If the spirometer is connected to the PC software winspiroPRO via the USB cable, the following tests and parameters can be measured:

Thanks to the built-in Bluetooth Low Energy module, the device can be connected to the iPad or iPad mini. On this tablet the values FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC%, PEF, FEF25–75 can be displayed in the iSpirometry software.

Spirobank 2 specifications:

Spirobank 2 recognizes normal spirometry and can distinguish 5 degrees of obstruction and 5 degrees of restriction according to the ATS standard. After the test, a quality report is given.

The built-in temperature sensor ensures automatic correction of Volume and Flow to the standardized BTPS values (= 37°C or body temperature).

You must use this spirometer with a turbine. There are 2 options available:

• The reusable turbine that you can get at a great discount in combination with the purchase of this device. You use paper nozzles with this turbine.
• Disposable turbines packaged in plastic: FlowMir disposable turbine 60 pieces. These are complete including mouthpiece. You don't need paper mouthpieces.

MIR Spiro software subscription for 1 year included. Afterwards you take out 1- or 2-year subscriptions.
