The Spengler Cardio Prestige II dual-head stethoscope is a high-quality professional stethoscope developed for healthcare professionals who demand excellent acoustic performance, precision and user comfort.

The Cardio Prestige II is part of a new generation of stethoscopes developed by Spengler based on acoustic research conducted in collaboration with engineers from the École Centrale and the CNRS Acoustics Laboratory in Marseille. The result is a stethoscope with excellent sound transmission, enabling even subtle body sounds to be detected accurately.

Excellent acoustic performance

The precision-engineered stainless steel chestpiece is inspired by the shape and acoustic properties of musical instruments such as the French horn. The flared shape of the chestpiece helps guide sound waves efficiently towards the centre of the diaphragm, enabling clear and precise auscultation.

The relatively high weight of the chestpiece contributes to good resonance and stable positioning during examinations. An integrated non-chill ring provides additional patient comfort.

Multi-frequency diaphragm for low and high frequencies

The Cardio Prestige II is equipped with a floating multi-frequency diaphragm on both sides of the chestpiece. This allows different frequency ranges to be heard without having to change or turn the chestpiece.

• Light pressure: for listening to low-frequency sounds, such as vascular and cardiac sounds.
• Firm pressure: for listening to high-frequency sounds, including pulmonary sounds.

This makes the stethoscope suitable for a wide range of physical examinations in both adults and children.

Wide tube with dual internal air channels

The wide, shortened tube features dual internal air channels for efficient transmission of sound waves. The design helps reduce distracting ambient noise and contributes to accurate auscultation, even in busy clinical environments.

Ergonomic design and excellent user comfort

The ergonomically shaped ear tubes and soft nano-silicone ear tips provide a comfortable fit and effective sealing of the ear canal. This ensures that the stethoscope remains comfortable even during prolonged use.

Thanks to the slim design of the chestpiece, the Cardio Prestige II can easily be used under a blood pressure cuff.
