USE IT WITH

  • For short-term symptomatic treatment of: moderate to moderate pain, such as headache, menstrual pain and toothache, fever and cold pain.

NOT TO BE USED WITH

  • If you are allergic to ibuprofen, ponceau 4R (E124) or any of the ingredients of this medicine.
  • You have ever had shortness of breath, asthma, runny nose, swelling or hives after taking acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) or other similar pain killers (NSAIDs).
  • If you have, or have obviously had, an ulcer, perforation or bleeding in the stomach or duodenum at least twice.
  • You have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation with previous use of NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).
  • You have an unexplained blood production disorder
  • You have severe kidney, liver or heart failure.
  • You are in the last three months of pregnancy.
  • You are severely dehydrated due to vomiting, diarrhea, or insufficient fluid intake.
  • You have bleeding in the brain (cerebrovascular haemorrhage) or other active bleeding.

DOSAGE

Adults and children & adolescents with a body weight of 40 kg or more (12 years and older): Initial dose: 1 capsule (400 mg ibuprofen) with water, then if necessary 1 capsule (400 mg ibuprofen) every six hours.
