USE IT WITH

• The active substance in this medicine, minoxidil, when used topically, stimulates hair growth to some extent in some men with baldness. Hair growth stimulation is observed after approximately 4 or more months of application and varies from patient to patient. After 4 months, some effect is seen in only a small percentage of patients, while no effect is seen in at least 2/3 of patients. After 12 months, approximately 1/3 of patients have some hair growth. When minoxidil lotion is discontinued, new hair growth will stop and the pre-treatment image will return within 3 to 4 months. If no results have been seen after 1 year, the use of minoxidil lotion should be discontinued.

• If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.

DOSAGE

The usual dose is 1 puff of minoxidil lotion (about 20 mg minoxidil) twice a day, every 12 hours, on the center of the balding scalp and spread all over the area. The total daily dose is a maximum of 2 puffs.
