Schülke Mikrozid sensitive wipes are alcohol-free disinfectant wipes for cleaning and disinfecting sensitive and alcohol-sensitive medical devices. The wipes are based on quaternary ammonium compounds and combine effective disinfection with good material compatibility.

Thanks to their alcohol-free formulation, the wipes are suitable for materials and surfaces that cannot tolerate alcohol, including synthetic leather, plastics and sensitive medical equipment. Ultrasound heads can also be cleaned with the wipes; they are not intended for final disinfection of ultrasound heads.

Good Material Compatibility

Mikrozid sensitive combines a broad range of applications with good material compatibility. The wipes are suitable for alcohol-sensitive surfaces, including synthetic leather, plastics and sensitive medical equipment.

Application

Remove visible contamination before disinfection. Thoroughly wipe the surface and keep it moist for the entire contact time. The wipes are intended for treating small surfaces.

For high-risk areas such as intensive care, haemato-oncology, neonatology and burn care, a disinfectant with a broader spectrum of activity is recommended.
