The new Microlife BP B3 Comfort blood pressure monitor is one of the latest blood pressure monitors from the renowned manufacturer Microlife. Technically, this model can be seen as the successor to the popular A3L Comfort.
New! Comfort+ technology (formerly: IMT technology - Inflation Mode Technology)
Comfort+ technology is the latest technology from Microlife. This technology ensures extra comfortable, fast and accurate blood pressure recording while inflating the cuff. Many models first inflate before deflating to determine blood pressure. This process is therefore different (and slower) than with blood pressure monitors with Comfort+ technology. With Comfort+ technology, blood pressure is determined immediately during inflation. This is particularly advantageous for patients who experience inflation as unpleasant. Measuring blood pressure takes less time and therefore you will experience less unpleasant feelings for less time. In addition, this blood pressure monitor inflates almost silently. So you will not hear the pump ''humming''.
Measuring in 3/MAM mode
With this meter it is possible to measure in the so-called ''3/MAM'' mode. The blood pressure monitor has a slider that makes it easy to set whether you want to perform a single measurement or the 3/MAM measurement. In this 3/MAM mode, the BP B3 Comfort automatically takes 3 measurements with a few seconds of pause between each measurement. If one measurement deviates significantly, a fourth measurement will automatically follow. Afterwards you will see the average of these 3 measurements on the screen. 3/MAM increases the reliability of blood pressure measurement.
Microlife blood pressure monitors and rechargeable batteries
The unique thing about Microlife blood pressure monitors is that this brand can function in combination with rechargeable batteries. Rechargeable batteries have a lower voltage than normal alkaline batteries (1.2 volts versus 1.5 volts). Many electronic devices cannot handle this voltage difference. Microllife blood pressure monitors can do that! With a set of good rechargeable batteries you can save money in the long term. We offer you the option to purchase a set of powerful rechargeable Duracell batteries (4 pieces - 2500 mAh) with your blood pressure monitor. These batteries can be charged approximately 400 times. You must have your own battery charger. The Microlife adapter is not a charger.
Can be connected to the PC
This blood pressure monitor can easily be connected to the PC using a mini USB cable. This USB cable is of course included with the blood pressure monitor. The software is easy to download via Microlife (English, easy to use). The software works on Windows computers.
