This Microlife BP A7 Touch is part of the latest generation of Microlife blood pressure monitors. This BP A7 Touch BT is equipped with the latest and most modern blood pressure measuring techniques. The large, clear screen makes the meter easy to use and the measured blood pressure values are easy to read. This BP A7 Touch BT is equipped with Gentle+ technology: this means that the cuff is inflated to exactly the right pressure. The cuff is therefore not inflated unnecessarily. This provides more comfort during measuring.
3/MOM & AFIB
This meter is also equipped with the well-known 3/MAM technology and AFIB detection. 3/MAM stands for 3 x 'Microlife Average Measurement'. In this mode, the blood pressure monitor measures the blood pressure 3 times in a row to arrive at an accurate and reliable average of the current blood pressure. AFIB makes it possible to detect 'atrial fibrillation'. This is the vibrating of the atrium of the heart; also called irregular heartbeat. This meter has been clinically validated according to the BHS protocol and achieved an A/A rating (highest possible). You can read more about AFIB here.
Can be connected to the PC and with the Microlife app
This blood pressure monitor can easily be connected to the PC using a mini USB cable. This USB cable is of course included with the blood pressure monitor. The software is easy to download via Microlife (English, easy to use). The software works on Windows computers. With the software it is possible to export the data (measurements) from your blood pressure monitor to the software. The software allows you to keep track of your measurements and put them in table/graph form. In addition to the option to get measurements on the computer, it is also possible to connect this blood pressure monitor with an app on your smartphone or tablet (the app for this is called Microlife Connected Health +) and this app can be downloaded from the app store or Google play store.
