USE IT WITH

Maalox is used to treat complaints caused by too much acid in the stomach and esophagus, such as heartburn and acid regurgitation. The chewable tablets reduce the amount of acid in your stomach.

NOT TO BE USED WITH

• If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
• Your kidneys are seriously impaired (renal dysfunction).
• The chewable tablets contain sucrose and sorbitol.

DOSAGE

The usual dose is one chewable tablet at a time, four times a day (24 hours). Always use the chewable tablet one hour after each meal and just before going to sleep. Chew the tablets well.
For severe complaints, you can double the usual dose (two tablets at a time, four times a day).
