The 3M ™ Littmann® Master Cardiology ™ Stethoscope features adjustable membrane technology - an invention (not a capital letter) from 3M that allows clinicians to hear different sound frequencies simply by adjusting the pressure on the chestpiece. Unlike two-sided models, there is no need to turn over and reposition the chestpiece. A light pressure on the chestpiece ensures that you hear low-frequency sounds; a little more pressure creates the high-frequency sounds. This feature saves you time and allows the caregiver to focus on the patient while the anti-cold or patient comfort. The tension of the headset is easily adjustable to suit any head size and user preferences by squeezing or pulling apart the earbuds. Snap-on earplugs with a soft seal feel comfortable in the ear and provide an excellent acoustic seal. The earplugs click firmly into the ends of the tubes and, for safety, cannot simply be removed. Next-generation robust hoses maintain their shape and flexibility even when stored compactly. The stethoscope lasts longer and is also more resistant to the effects of skin oils, alcohol and stains. Next-generation hoses do not contain natural rubber (latex), a benefit to sensitive physicians and their patients. And to protect human and wildlife health, next-generation hoses do not contain phthalate plasticizers. The Master Cardiology stethoscope is manufactured in the USA to ensure consistent quality. It comes with large and small soft-sealing earplugs, adapter for special procedures and instructions.
