In addition to great skill, good material is required for applying functional bandages. The traditional tape Leukotape classic is a non-stretch, very strong adhesive tape that meets the requirements in all respects.

Properties
Leukotape classic is made of stretch-free, white cotton fabric. The tape has great adhesive and tensile strength. The zinc oxide rubber adhesive provides excellent adhesion, both on the skin and on any skin protective underlayment. The tape remains in place even under heavy load. The rigidity of the material provides a stabilizing effect, both mechanically and proprioceptively.

The outside of the carrier material is impregnated and water-repellent. The plastic core of Leukotape classic has rounded edges, so that they do not cut into the skin when unrolled.

Leukotape classic is, partly thanks to the slightly serrated edge, easy to tear in length or width by hand, which makes the use of scissors unnecessary. This tearability does not affect the tensile strength of the carrier material, so that large forces can be absorbed with Leukotape classic.

Thanks to an advanced production method, Leukotape classic adheres excellently on its own, while the entire roll can be unrolled effortlessly. Moreover, Leukotape classic has a shelf life of no less than 5 years.

Applications
• As a functional immobilization bandage, for example after torsions, contusions and dislocations.
• As a sports tape for the preventive taping of joints, ligaments and muscles.
