Leukoplast Compress Absorbent Soft (formerly Cutisorb) is an innovative, very soft bandage developed with multiple functional layers. It provides a high degree of comfort and protection for the wound due to its thickness and absorbent capacity. A special fleece transports the wound fluid directly to the overlying moisture-absorbing layer, which helps to make dressing changes painless and promotes wound healing. With its ability to absorb and retain a large amount of moisture, this dressing is ideal for the treatment of moderately to heavily moist wounds. A special layer that prevents leakage also makes it extremely suitable as a postoperative wound dressing. It can also be used as a covering dressing for the treatment of deep wounds, possibly in combination with advanced dressing materials. The blue stripe on the top of the dressing provides clear identification of the wound side to prevent incorrect use.
