Leukoplast is a skin-coloured plaster on the basis of rayon fabric. The adhesive properties of the zinc oxide-rubber provides a good and long-lasting effect, even when the tape is under great tension. In addition, the zinc oxide-rubber adhesive properties of Leukoplast are specially designed to make it permeable to air and water vapour. This will prevent an airtight seal, softens the skin and prevents other skin irritations.
Leukoplast is particularly strong and versatile when used on patients with regular skin. The very high strength of the tape makes it fit for fixating compresses and gauzes of all sizes
