This remedy provides fast and long-lasting relief from nasal congestion. It reduces the
swelling of the mucous membrane in the nose and thus helps to keep the nasal passage clear, causing
you/your child can breathe more easily. The effect of this medicine starts within 2 minutes and lasts
up to 12 o'clock.
What is this medicine used for
You are using Leidapharm Xylometazoline HCl Nasal Spray 1.0 mg/ml if you suffer from constipation
nose.
Leidapharm Xylometazoline HCl Nasal Spray 1.0 mg/ml is for adults and children
from 12 years. This medicine is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. For children from 2 to 12
year a different strength is available.
Composition
Active substance: This medicine contains 0.1 mg benzalkonium chloride, in each ml nasal spray.
Excipients: benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium chloride and purified water
Dosage
The recommended dose is:
Adults and children from 12 years:
One spray in each nostril, three times a day. There should be 8 to 10 hours between two administrations.
No more than three applications per nostril per day.
Leidapharm Xylometazoline HCl Nasal Spray 1.0 mg/ml should not be used in children under 12 years of age. A different strength is available for children from 2 to 12 years: Leidapharm Xylometazoline HCl 0.5 mg/ml, nasal spray, solution.
Directions for use
1. Blow the nose.
2. Remove the protective cap.
3. When using the bottle for the first time, pump a few times until a
even spray from the bottle. The next time you use the bottle this will
are no longer needed. Be careful not to spray into the eyes or mouth.
4. Hold the bottle upright and place the thumb on the bottom of the bottle and hold the nosepiece
between 2 fingers.
5. Hold the atomizer upright, bend your head slightly forward and place the nosepiece in a
nostril.
6. Administer one spray into each nostril. As you pump, breathe in through the nose. Make after use
clean the end and replace the protective cap.
To prevent the spread of the infection, the bottle should only be used by one person
