ChitoGauze XR pro hemostatic dressing is specially developed for stopping massive bleeding. ChitoGauze®XR pro is a sterile, Z-folded gauze that is easy and quick to use. It is latex-free and can be found in a wound thanks to the blue X-ray detection strip.

In healthcare, wound packing is often chosen if a tourniquet cannot be applied. Think of bleeding in the neck, armpit and groin. The technique is extremely important to achieve success. After inserting the gauze, direct pressure must be maintained on the wound for three minutes. If the wound bleeds, the procedure should be repeated with a new gauze.
