HEKA Cleaning Solution is a 0.3% chlorhexidine solution in 70% alcohol for cutaneous use on intact skin. The solution is used to disinfect the skin and wound edges and can help a plaster adhere better to the skin.
The cleaning solution is not suitable for use in or on wounds or on broken skin. The product is also used for piercing applications, ear piercing and by podiatrists.
Apply the cleaning solution around the wound and, if required, cover the wound with a plaster or sterile gauze.
Warning: Not suitable for use in the ear due to the risk of hearing loss. Keep out of reach of children. After opening, the product can be stored for 6 months at room temperature.
