Cauterization of tissues and small blood vessels during surgical procedures, without the need for a high-frequency generator. Electrocautery is a sterile, bipolar, battery-powered, disposable device for cauterization. Suitable for most procedures. It is particularly suitable where an efficient hemostat is required, such as in vascular surgery, dermatology, and microsurgery.
The energy is supplied by built-in alkaline batteries. The cauter has a safety cap that protects the tip and prevents accidental activation.
