The De Boissy Etretat Doctor's Bag combines a modern, elegant appearance with an exceptionally practical layout for professional medical use. The design is inspired by the traditional leather doctor's bag but stands out with its contemporary styling and combination of grey tones inspired by the famous chalk cliffs of Étretat and earthy brown tones reflecting the Normandy landscape.
The Etretat has been designed for healthcare professionals who need to carry medical instruments, diagnostic equipment and medical supplies in an organised manner during home visits, ward rounds and work on location. Thanks to its generous 24-litre capacity, large opening and extensive compartment layout, supplies can be stored neatly and accessed quickly.
All fabrics used on the inside and outside are made from recycled materials and certified according to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). De Boissy therefore combines sustainability with the requirements of a professional medical bag.
The materials are strong, wear-resistant, water-repellent and washable. This makes the bag easy to maintain and suitable for regular professional use.
The spacious main compartment features an extra-large opening with a two-way zip. This provides excellent visibility and quick access to diagnostic instruments, medical equipment and medical supplies.
The main compartment features 6 inner pockets and 2 removable Velcro dividers. This allows the internal layout to be adapted flexibly to the instruments and supplies being carried.
The Etretat Doctor's Bag also features a padded laptop compartment, allowing electronic devices to be carried separately and securely.
The main compartment also contains 2 removable compartments with Velcro attachments. The transparent compartment allows the contents to be quickly identified without opening it.
The second compartment is an isothermal compartment that can hold up to 20 ampoules. This compartment is intended for the organised transport of temperature-sensitive medical supplies.
The main compartment also features a practical carabiner for attaching items such as keys. An elastic loop allows a bottle or drinking bottle to be kept upright inside the bag.
The front of the bag features a spacious 40 × 20 cm compartment that can be opened completely. One side contains 2 zipped mesh pockets and 2 flat storage pockets.
The other side features several elastic loops for neatly storing small medical instruments and supplies such as forceps, scissors, penlights, thermometers, dressings and pens.
The Etretat Doctor's Bag features 3 zipped external pockets. One of these compartments provides space for A4 documents.
There is also a separate side pocket with an elastic holder, which can be used, for example, to store a bottle of hand sanitiser. This keeps the sanitiser quickly and easily accessible.
The bag features a removable front pocket with a grained leather appearance. This component can be removed and replaced, allowing the appearance of the doctor's bag to be customised.
Optional printed front pockets are available separately and provide the opportunity to give the Etretat a more personalised appearance.
An integrated external USB port with charging cable allows a power bank to be connected inside the bag. This makes it possible, for example, to charge a smartphone while travelling without having to open the bag.
