Take Coldrex Sore Throat Lozenges with 2 milligrams of the powerful pain reliever lidocaine. Quickly, effectively and locally soothes the sore throat. The yellow lozenges contain amylmetacresol and 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol – both antiseptic (disinfectants) and lidocaine hydrochloride – a topical analgesic for the throat. These throat tablets are for adults and adolescents from 12 years and older.

INGREDIENTS
Each lozenge contains 0.6 mg amylmetacresol, 1.2 mg 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol and 2.0 mg lidocaine hydrochloride. The other ingredients in this medication are: partially dementholized mint oil, quinoline yellow (E104), saccharin sodium (E954), tartaric acid (E334), sucrose, liquid glucose, sunset yellow (E110), lemon essence, and honey flavour.
DOSAGE
Adults and adolescents 12 years and older: Allow one lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth every 2-3 hours. Use a maximum of 8 lozenges per 24 hours (maximum 4 lozenges for children). Do not let the lozenge dissolve in the cheek pouch. Do not take this medicine before eating or drinking. It is not recommended to use this medicine for more than 5 days as it may disrupt the natural microbiological balance in the throat. If the complaint does not improve after 2 days, or if it gets worse, contact the doctor. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this drug. Children under the age of 12 should not take this drug.
