USE IT WITH

  • This medicine is an antiseptic and disinfectant that contains the active substance povidone iodine.
  • It is used to prevent or treat infections of intact or damaged skin and mucous membranes.

NOT TO BE USED WITH

  • If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
  • If you suffer from an overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism), or if you have any other thyroid abnormalities, do not use this medicine on large areas of skin.

DOSAGE

For the disinfection of superficial wounds and burns, Betadine solution must be applied undiluted to the areas to be treated. It is necessary to cover the entire affected area with, for example, a plaster or gauze.
