Since 1970, the AlgerBrush and AlgerBrush II have been used worldwide by ophthalmologists, general practitioners and in the emergency room. In addition to removing a foreign body, the AlgerBrush is designed for the specific purpose of removing these rust rings from the eyes of patients.
Differences between ALGERBRUSH and ALGERBRUSH II
The ALGERBRUSH II has a different "stop/start" mechanism. The original ALGERBRUSH consisted of a "spin-start" mechanism. The ALGERBRUSH II will start by simply turning the end. The original ALGERBRUSH stops spinning when excessive pressure is applied to the surgical area. The ALGERBRUSH II also stops but will restart as soon as the pressure is released unlike the ALGERBRUSH. The ALGERBRUSH II motor is much quieter with a better quality motor. The ALGERBRUSH II has both CE (class IIa) and ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 certificates. Comes with 1 eye drill and battery.
