It is essential to perform a test regularly, so that the quality of the test results is guaranteed.

A control with the ACON On Call Extra Control Solution must be performed in various situations; when using the glucose meter for the first time, before using a new box of test strips, if there is a suspicion that the meter, test strips, or test results are not working properly or are correct, if the meter may be damaged, after cleaning the meter and at least once a week.

The ACON On Call Extra Control Solution can be used for a maximum of six months after opening. After this period, the control solution is no longer effective.
