Prefabricated 3-layer splint made of Scotchcast™ Plus material. The Scotchcast™ Longuette can be used wherever lightweight, dimensionally stable immobilization is required. It can be processed, for example, with additional padding to create all types of splints. The Scotchcast™ Longuette is particularly useful as a reinforcement strip for bandages subject to various loads (lower and upper thigh walking bandages, thoracic abduction bandages, upper thigh splints, etc.) or in combination with SoftCast for functional immobilization. The individual layers can be fanned out to achieve larger widths.
