Zyrtec Cetirizine dihydrochloride 7 tablets
USE IT WITH
In adults and children aged 6 years and older, Zyrtec 10 mg film-coated tablets are indicated
for:
- the relief of nasal and eye complaints associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis.
- the relief of persistent skin rashes with severe itching and formation of bumps (hives) of unknown cause (urticaria).
NOT TO BE USED WITH
- You have a serious disorder of kidney function (severe renal failure with a creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min)
- You are allergic to cetirizine dihydrochloride, to hydroxyzine, to piperazine derivatives (closely related active substances of other medicines) or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
DOSAGE
Adults and young people from 12 years:
The recommended dose is 10 mg (1 tablet) once daily.
Use in children from 6 to 12 years:
The recommended dose is 5 mg twice a day (half a tablet twice a day).
Patients with renal impairment
Patients with moderate renal impairment are recommended to take 5 mg once daily.
Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you suffer from severe kidney disease. Your doctor or
pharmacist may be able to adjust the dose accordingly.

Directions for useThe tablets should be swallowed with a glass of liquid.
The tablet can be divided into 2 equal doses.
