Zovirax Cream duo
USE IT WITH
- Zovirax Duo contains two active ingredients: aciclovir and hydrocortisone. Aciclovir is an antiviral agent that helps fight the virus that causes cold sores. Hydrocortisone is a mild steroid (adrenal cortex hormone) that reduces the inflammation associated with a cold sore.
NOT TO BE USED WITH
- If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
- You have a skin infection other than a cold sore.
DOSAGE
Adults and children over 12 years old:
Apply the cream five times a day for 5 days (i.e. approximately every 3-4 hours during the day).
It is recommended that treatment is preferably as soon as possible after the first signs or symptoms
(for example, tingling, itching, or redness).
