Orion Diagnostica's new generation CRP Point-of-Care test system is designed for diagnosis and treatment in primary health care to provide even better support by providing valuable information for decision making during the consultation.
By determining CRP during the consultation you can discern between general bacterial infections, viral or fungal infections. This is of importance for the decision to prescribe antibiotics or not. Also, a high score can give insight into the seriousness of a situation and at a low score may reassure a patient. This latter without the prescription of antibiotics.
The QuikRead go analyzer is a fully automatic compact photometer which is used for measuring quantitatively and qualitatively with the QuikRead go reagent kits. The instrument measures the absorbance of the contents of the cuvette and converts the absorbance value of the test on the basis of pre-calibrated test data.
