During testing, the sample reacts with the particle coated with an anti-ferritin monoclonal antibody. The mixture\r\nmigrates chromatographically upward on the membrane by capillary action and reacts with an anti-ferritin polyclonal antibody on the membrane and\r\ngenerates a colored line. The line in the test line area (T) appears if the ferritin level is higher than the cut-off level of 30 ng\/mL. If the ferritin concentration is lower than\r\n30 ng\/mL, the test line dose is not displayed. To check the performance, a colored line always appears in the control line area.
