Extensive product description
The Philips HeartStart FRx AED stands out with its robustness and reliability. The AED is water, dust and shockproof and the special baby/child key (optional) easily converts the defibrillator to child resuscitation. This AED is therefore extremely suitable for a demanding environment such as a sports field, swimming pool, school or public space.
Easy to use for everyone
The Philips FRx AED guides the rescuer step by step thanks to clear, spoken instructions and visual cues. The spoken instructions are adjusted in speed and information to the actions of the rescuer. This allows actions to be repeated and instructions to be given more slowly or formulated differently, so that the rescuer understands what to do
Suitable for adults and children
The Philips FRx AED is equipped with pre-connected electrodes for adults. For children under 8 years old or weighing less than 25 kg, it is possible to quickly and easily adjust the AED thanks to the special baby/child key. In the special child mode, the spoken instructions are adjusted for applying the electrodes and the intensity of the shock is reduced.
The fastest shock
Philips' Quick Shock technology makes the AED one of the fastest on the market. The Philips FRx AED can analyze and administer a shock within 8.1 seconds. This means it complies with the guidelines for resuscitation.
Always ready for use
The Philips FRx AED performs extensive self-tests every day. This automatically checks whether the electrodes, battery and mechanics of the AED are still functioning properly. If something unexpectedly does not work properly, the AED will indicate this by giving off a warning signal.
FDA approved
The Philips FRx AED is FDA approved. An FDA quality mark is a certification issued by the American Food and Drug Administration. This indicates that the product meets the strictest requirements in the industry and is safe to use.
