USE IT WITH
• the relief of nasal and ocular symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis
• the relief of persistent skin rashes with severe itching and formation of bumps (hives) of unknown cause (urticaria)
NOT TO BE USED WITH
- You have a serious disorder of kidney function (severe renal failure with a creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min).
- You are allergic to cetirizine dihydrochloride, to hydroxyzine, to piperazine derivatives (closely related active substances of other medicines) or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
- Children under 6 years old
DOSAGE
Adults and young people from 12 years:
The recommended dose is 10 mg (1 tablet) once daily.
Other forms of this medicine may be more suitable for children; ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Use in children from 6 to 12 years:
The recommended dose is 5 mg twice a day (half a tablet twice a day).
Other forms of this medicine may be more suitable for children; ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Patients with renal impairment
Patients with moderate renal impairment are recommended to use 5 mg once daily.
If you have severe renal impairment, contact your doctor or pharmacist who will adjust the dose accordingly.
If your child has severe renal impairment, contact your doctor or pharmacist who will adjust the dose according to your child's needs.
If you feel that the effect of this medicine is too weak or too strong, consult your doctor.
