Glucose test strips for your practice, medical facility or diabetics
Glucose test strips are used in combination with a glucose meter. This way you can determine the blood sugar level quickly and reliably. With a lancet or lancing device, you obtain capillary blood that you apply to the test strip. The biochemical sensor of the glucose meter then generates a signal that is converted into a number by the meter. Only a small amount of blood is needed for a good measurement. If you have to prick often, that's beneficial. If too little blood reaches the test strip, the meters also indicate that. The measurement is fast and that is very effective if you have diabetes or in a doctor's office setting.
Glucose test strip calibration
Some manufacturers require you to calibrate the blood glucose meter using a code that comes with the test strips. There are also code-free comics that you can use immediately. Some meters do not have test strips, but a cassette with, for example, 50 measurements. You don't always need individual strips.
Which glucose test strip should I choose
Choosing which strip to use depends on the sugar meter, glucose meter. The meters we sell are all certified. You make the best choice based on the device itself and the price. When purchasing with names, pay attention to the price of the test strips. If you have to inject a lot, this can be important. The Meters and test strips from Diatesse and HT One are well priced.
