CardiacSense: The New Clinically Validated CE Marked Patient Monitoring System (MDR)
CardiacSense is a medical and validated wearable with great ease of use for home monitoring of a number of vital bio parameters. A large amount of qualitative clinical data is collected non-invasively 24/7. This data can support doctors in making a diagnosis. At the same time they prove their usefulness in terms of prevention.
Accurate home monitoring with unprecedented ease of use
- The medical grade device makes it possible to collect accurate clinical data at any time, at any place.
- CardiacSense offers the ease of use of a wearable.
- It is possible to share data in real time with the treating doctor or care center, or to set alarms via a predictive model.
What does CardiacSense measure?
CardiacSense collects data non-stop¹ and collects that information in a cloud environment that is accessible to the patient and the doctor. The system allows for reports that the doctor can adjust based on his own judgment.
- Electrocar diagram (ECG)
- Atrial Fibrillation
- Heart rate (HR) & heart rate variability (HRV)
- Respiratory rate (RR), sleep apnea detection
- Oxygen Saturation (SpO2)
- Cardiac arrhythmias
- Blood pressure (BP)*
- Core temperature
*This is not yet possible at the moment due to software development. The hardware is already present in the watch.
CardiacSense accurate home monitoring with unprecedented ease of use
Indispensable for those who want to be involved in eHealth, home monitoring, health prediction, prevention and the use of AI in healthcare: the CardiacSense. The high-tech medical grade device continuously measures and monitors a whole range of vital bio-parameters in a non-invasive and highly accurate manner. The smart wearable monitors a large number of clinical parameters using sensors. The data obtained helps doctors make a better diagnosis. In this way, the medical grade device saves time and costs. And lives.
Many benefits for doctors and patients
CardiacSense total solution offers the possibility of non-invasive, continuous, long-term and remote patient monitoring and data collection for diagnostic analysis and even prevention. The ambulatory system uses medically certified software and hardware with unprecedented sensitivity and ease of use for patient and doctor in this application.
FAQ:
What is the difference with Apple Watch?
Appel is not a medical watch, it has low specificity and sensitivity. According to the Mayo clinic, 7 out of 8 people diagnosed by the Apple Watch are false positive for irregular rhythm. The CardiacSense has over 99 specificity and sensitivity and can detect atrial fibrillation.
How does my doctor see the data?
Event reports are created through the app and can be sent, but if you subscribe to the cloud services, all data from the watch can be automatically uploaded to your web portal. There the doctor can have access to all your data and reports.
Does the watch also show the time?
Yes. But it's not a watch with SMS or Whatsapp message, it's a medical watch.
How long does the watch work after charging?
2 days, depending on usage.
What is an event report?
It can be shared by third party apps like WhatsApp, Email, WeChat or anything else.
Which arrhythmias can it measure?
Sinus rhythm, sinus and ventricular tachycardia, bradycardia, atrial fibrillation and flutter, QT time, AV blocks, PVC, ventricular bi- and trigeminia, ventricular fibrillation, flutter, bundle number block, artifact and more
